Tthe Warwickshire County Communications Team (WCT) are holding a Communications event on the evening of Tuesday 16th January. This is open to every Group and District. During the evening you will Learn how to write a press article, how to contact the press, how to develop your own web site, how to communicate with your own group (parents, supporters, and even other groups)

The lucky 63 scouts going to the 24th World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia have now been chosen! On the 18th and 19th November Warwickshire held a selection weekend to try and pick 63 applicants out of an amazing group of 102. Check out this video to see what they got up to!

Six Summits Challenge 2018. The event has been running for 33 years this year and we are widening the areas we take teams from and this includes Warwickshire. Stuart Mann (new Scout Leader in Water Orton) sits on our organising committee. See website for details

Sailing Opportunity on 50ft Ocean Going Yacht
1st Bedworth Scout Group are offering on adventure next Whitsun for Explores Scouts Sailing on board 2 x 50-foot ocean going Yacht with Adventures Offshore. The dates are from Friday 25th May to Thursday 31th May 2018. We are offering the opportunity for Explorers in the County to take part in this exciting adventure. Sailing from Ipswich south to France or north up the east coast. Explorers can still take part in this activity without leaders from their own group as we have suitable leader ratios.

Our aim is to offer as much flexibility in training opportunities as possible – don’t forget that there are e-learning opportunities in addition to face to face training. More details of these can be found on the scouts.org link below.
