A good news story doesn’t have to be about the big events or awards, it could be about your recent visit to the fire station, the camp you went on last weekend or anything that you do on a week-to-week basis! To help write a story there is an online tool to help, called the Scout Story Library and can be found at http://stories.scout.org.uk the tool includes tips on writing a news story and once submitted HQ will create an article for pitching to the press.
