Beaver Scouts

Beavers have progressed brilliantly in Warwickshire over the last few years with many changes to the section they have become a great asset to their groups.This is due to the enthusiasm and the quality of the Leaders who must be encouraged and supported in all their activities.

This is the foundation for Scouting in Warwickshire - which we must build on and continue to develop.


How do we build on this - by sharing information, co-operation, using the skills of Leaders from the other sections, parents, outside agencies etc. By doing this we will be able to give Beavers Scouting at its best
and widen the experiences of our young boys and girls in a variety of areas.

I hope all Beaver Leaders are taking advantage of the training that is on offer to them within Districts and County - see your Training Managers for details  The support is there so please use it.

I hold open County Beaver Meetings to which all Beaver Leaders are invited , please ask DCs or your ADC Beavers for future dates and venues .

Lets move Beavers forward in Warwickshire with forward thinking and new skills .

County Beavers Fun Day 27th June 2010

'Wow what a great day!'

'So much to see and do!'

'Brilliant Day!'

We couldn't have wished for better weather on our annual fun day.With the sun shining on us we could get on with enjoying the hug range of activities on offer - archery, Jousting, a medieval caterpult, cabin building,go- carts,birds of prey - so much to get involved with.and lots to eat,too! It was wonderful to see everyone taking part,Beavers and helpers,leaders and parents.

We had some very positive feedback about the way the day was organised,and best of all the Beavers went home afterwards and happy.

'So many happy Beavers and impressed parents!.
